Empire Avenue is the right step in social media. I was thinking about something similar way back in 2003. My dream is still that musicians can upload their music and investors can buy Shares. Saleband does something similar, but missing the trading part. My strong believe is that the portal that mixes a game like Gowalla and Foursquare with share trading and real money while integrated with social media, will be the next big thing.
